Conditions for Refund Initiation
A refund will be initiated under the following circumstances:
- Duplicate loan repayment– if you have unintentionally repaid the same instalment twice, through any payment method.
- Excess payment received– if Paisa in Hand has received a payment exceeding the amount actually due for repayment.
- Early repayment mistake– if you have mistakenly repaid an instalment before its due date and wish to have the excess amount refunded.
Refund requests outside these circumstances, including a change of mind after a loan has been disbursed, are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
Refund Process & Timeline
Once a refund request is verified and found eligible under this policy, the refunded amount will be credited to your registered bank account within 7 working days. We will keep you informed of the status of your request throughout the process.
How to Raise a Refund Request
If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please write to us with your loan account reference, the transaction details, and the reason for the request. Our team will acknowledge your request and guide you through verification.
In case of dissatisfaction
If you are not satisfied with the resolution provided, you may escalate the matter through our Grievance Redressal process.
